Minden Animal Hospital is a progressive, client-centered practice

Responsibilities:

  • As the first and last impression for our clients, you are key to ensuring a positive experience with each interaction.
  • Booking appointments & triaging urgent or emergency cases as necessary.
  • Following up on lapsed preventative care appointments.
  • Collect payment for services rendered, being able to explain services provided.
  • Reviewing treatment plans & discussing financial options with clients.
  • Discussing important information with clients regarding sample collections & passing on to veterinary technicians.
  • A team approach to patient care – ensuring information is collected, documented & shared appropriately.
  • Maintenance of a clean & professional facility.
  • Up to date on preventative medications (heartworm, flea, tick) & diets to be able to have discussions and recommendations.

Facility and Equipment

  • Brand New facility (May 2019)
  • Digital Radiology
  • Excellent dental equipment including digital dental radiographs & separate dental suite
  • Full in-house laboratory including chemistry analyzer, CBC machine, urine-analyzer
  • Use Avimark software and are paper-light
  • Use Rapport software for patient reminders, appointment confirmation, two way texting options, emailing & online booking

Existing Team

  • Three full time veterinarians, a full time client care coordinator, registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants & students.
